With over 17 years in the industry, Clay Short works alongside every client, understands their values and lifestyle, and intentionally matches them with the most suitable home for them.
Since 2003, Clay has been leasing apartments in the downtown Denver market. Since then, more than 300,000 new apartments have been built, and navigating that ocean of options has become challenging for renters and competitive for developers.
In 2014, Clay founded Colorado Lease Up with two goals in mind: to help renters find new apartment options in the main corridor of Denver and to help developers lease up their communities. With more than 70 five-star online reviews, Colorado Lease Up is the highest rated, locally-owned apartment finder in Denver. Nearly 500 renters have used Clay’s free services to find their perfect apartment over the past six years. Clay has also been an AAMD Member (Apartment Assoc. of Metro Denver) since 2014.
Developers and managers partner with Clay to learn what renters really want. He has been involved with and influenced design and marketing plans for some of the highest-profile multi-family projects in the area. From Union Station and Cherry Creek projects to new communities as far east as Ohio and west as California, Clay has helped renters get exactly what they were looking for, while developers fill their buildings at a record pace.
